Amberstar is a wonderful German game that got ported into English. The translation worked pretty well and brought the US a great game that very few have played. It is a single player game with 1st person perspective. NPCs are able to join you and they flesh out the game. If you can find this gem, do yourself a favor and dig it up. |

Wonderful music. Very good game, though imho not as good as the sequel, Ambermoon. But at least it has been released for the PC also. |

One of my alltime fave rpgs. Superb atmosphere and awesome music (Amiga version). I still miss it. Some dull dungeons lower the score to a 9 though... |

Groundbreaking for it's time (92), suffered only slightly from German translation (there was always a wierd predgidous about European released first games!, look at Star Trail, etc), graphics and changing 2D/3D format and pseudo non linear gameplay were awesome. Still fun to play even now, I suggest using either Dosbox or my fav, CPUgrabber. If your having trouble picturing this game, imagine M&M2 graphics with overhead views when traveling. |

Good old rpg... Contains some bugs and strange translations (some riddles sounds silly) but it's really enjoyable. Anyway Ambermoon is twice much better! ;) |
