Arx Fatalis: 9/10 points |
This is the first game that has actually caused me to jump when things happen. I got so caught up in the battles I felt the panic of trying to stay alive. There is frustration due to the lack of more concrete help in the game to send you on the right trail, and I had to resort to the walkthrough. But even that didn't give away all the in's and out's to the game, so it still has a LOT of surprizes. I would put my order in for Arx 2 in a second. The action, sound and graphics are great. It is hard to believe this is a first try for these guys. I think I read that somewhere. Keep up the great work. |

I'm addicted. I've played four times now and everytime I play I find something new, or try something different. Now that the last patch is in it's great. I can't wait for A2. By the way, the music during the credits was great. Should have had that in the game. |

I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's great. I've played Gothic and Morrowwind and love this one the most. Only draw back is lack of ingame directions, but PDF file takes care of that without giving spoilers. It was very well done. Lots of replay value as well. It will suck you in and take you over. |
