It appears that The Stranger made his first appearance in eGenesis' A Tale in the Desert a few days ago. You might remember that The Stranger is a character controled by the devs of ATitD, trying to keep the players from achieving ultimate perfection in Egypt. It seems like an agent of the Stranger, called Khepry, was sent to seed discord within Egypt's population by wheeling and twisting the greed of the people over Magnesium to the Stranger's advantage. People flared up in a panic as, when the Magnesium mines were made public and the mining began, the land around the mines began to die and grow rocky!
