GameBiz's Jason Cowley gives us his less than enthusiastic endorsement re Boiling Point, for which he gives out a final rating of 7 out of 10...

The developers obviously had a vision for Boiling Point, which would've made it a unique title and would've stood out against the competition. The basic storyline is good enough and the game does bring a few new aspects to the genre such as having to fill your car up with petrol. Unfortunately though this vision became lost during development and the game just feels unfinished. The game has a number of flaws, which if the developers took a bit more time could've been ironed out. The numerous side missions do add to the longevity of the game and if you want to try to complete them all you will be playing for ages, which is good. While the game isn’t the GTA killer it could've been it is definitely worth checking out and would make a worth addition to your game collection.
