Here's a bit: The few magical spells that we got to see really did look great, i havn't seen any spell effects so good yet. for one spell a large wall of earth instantly burst up surrounding the character in the middle. As the earth rose up, small chunks of dirt flew in every direction in a realistic explosion effect and dust was also created. This spell was for defensive purposes to make a wall around yourself. Another great spell was the Tornado, which is a higher level spell. When summoned a huge tornado connects with the ground from the sky (its really seamless also) as it hits the ground dust and rocks are thrown about and it looks really chaotic just like real. Once again they stressed the point that many magic spells created Geometric objects ingame with collision detection, i found that i would have been dissappointed otherwise.
