Arx Fatalis for the Xbox has been reviewed at Next Level Gaming. The text is more positive than the score of 70% would suggest, so here's the summary:
Arx Fatalis is a good game actually. I find myself playing it much more than I thought originally. I truly appreciate the thought that went into things like the spell system, and the object interaction with the environment (having to cook your food). And unlike traditional RPG's, this is a real-time played game, but not like a Baldur's Gate or D&D Heroes. But the graphics engine is not really there, and I try to fight as little as humanly possible. RPG fans who have been starved for something since putting their time into Knights of the Old Republic, will find this to be the only next game in line. So it definately would be one to look at. Even if you want to rent it first to see if you like it.
