Many people griped about the poor graphics. I had no problem with them myself. Besides, when a game is so much fun to play, who cares if it won't win a beauty pageant? The story and character development draw you in and never let go. As one of only 4 RPGs I've ever wanted to replay, I'd have top say this one is my favorite of all time. |

I've been a fan of the Might and Magic series a long time (Might and Magic I one on my Commodore 64 was my first RPG of any sort), and M&M 7 is one of the best. It builds on everything M&M6 established, and improves on it, both in story, gameplay, and graphics. It is also better then the two that follow it, (SIGNIFICANTLY better then the drab, boring M&M9). If you are a fan of the Might and Magic games of old, this will be fun game that will keep you at it for hours. If you are not a fan of Hack and Slash RPGs, then you might want to avoid this one. |

this game is one of the biggest piles of horse shit ever created for a pc, it was a real disgrace to the M&M name. from the very poorly done graphics (sprites, no true 3d), to the bad animation, bad sound, negligable story line... the list goes on and on, avoid this one at all costs. |

Best of the Might & Magic Series IMO. The choice of the two paths was good. The character development was utterly addictive and it wasn't as annoying long as M&M6. It's the only M&M game I would play again. |

This was a watered down version of M&M6. The massive amounts of combat from the previous game was toned down, which was a good thing. The world was smaller, the dungeons were smaller, the puzzles were non-existant, and there wasn't anything very memorable about this game. |

My favorite of all the M&M:s. Superb story and a really well designed gameworld. The Barrow downs for instance.. a dull, creepy wasteland with wights waiting to attack in the faraway distance.... The chance to play as evil also increases the fun. Yes, the graphics arent hot, but the gameplay easily outweighs that little insignificance. |

The best of the modern Might & Magic games. Was a definite step up in gameplay compared to 6, offered more customization than 8, and was easily better than that trainwreck 9 (careful what you wish for, some games shouldn't be in 3D!).
Graphics aren't bad, really. You can tell various monsters from one another. The only complaint is that the hardware-accelerated option screwed up the monster sprites on my version.
One of the best RPGs I've played in a while. Recommended. |

Excellent! The best Might and Magic i have played.The artwork is incredible and makes me want to keep playing to see more of it. The card game Arcomage is as good as the game by itself and really addictive.The art screens when going into shops and buildings are incredible too bad they didnt have some for Might and Magic 9.The combat is a hack and slash wet dream and i just love yelling at people to get out of the way!Truly a masterpiece hopefully they will make a Might and Magic 10 with all of this gaming goodness included some day. |

Currently playing this one for the third time. I feel it built on part 6 and went beyond. Rebuilding Harmondale and becoming lords of that zone was fun. Good story for a Might and Magic game. The two paths add replay value and do change the battle strategy somewhat (super buffed: light; super attack: dark). Lots of classes to choose from with distinct strengths and weaknesses (unlike 6 which was wide open concerning miscellaneous skills). Love all the games in this series and rate this one as a the best or second best overall. |
