It provides the same style of gameplay, albeit with better graphics. Enjoy Dungeon Siege for what it is, a polished Dungeon hack, that’ll provide you with 20 hours of pure gameplay. Just don’t think it’s a role playing game. The second review can be found at Dead Alfs. Their rating is a 9 out of 10, and this is what they offer as their conclusion: After being bogged down with D&D mechanics for so long, Dungeon Siege is a breath of fresh air. It looks utterly awesome and is wholly immersive despite its partial dismissal of NPC interaction. Gas Powered Games have done an excellent job of hiding a complex, rewarding and deceptively long lasting game underneath a lavishly presented RPG that deserves respect for both it's strategic tendencies and traditional hack & slash trappings alike.
