Once again, Legends of Might & Magic got a bad review, this time at AVault. 2 1/2 out of 5 - this surely isn't what 3DO wated top hear. Here's a bit:

Legends of Might and Magic makes a valiant effort to capitalize on the popularity of first-person team multiplayer titles, but in the end, only manages to deliver a mediocre offering. While it has its fun moments, and some of the maps are intriguing, Legends ultimately comes across as lacking ingenuity. The same aura and sense of involvement found in past M&M games isn't present when running around chaotically, blasting opponents with a Gatling Crossbow. Some shooter fans are bound to embrace this title, but it will take a special sort of game to dethrone Counter-Strike from its exalted position. Legends is not the one to do it.
