The latest 'Dragon Empires' Q&A at RPG Vault deals with the game's current status, beta plans and other various topics of interest. Peter Tyson, Codemaster's Community Liaison Manager, is once again on the receiving end of questions.
Jonric: To begin the year, let's look at where Dragon Empires stands. First, regarding the testing to date, why did the first phase last longer than originally projected, and most important, what did you learn?

Peter Tyson: Our first phase, Beta0, started in August, and since then, we have learned a lot about server stability. Only a small group were invited, and we ended up with less than 100 people involved, which was enough to test the functionality in this phase. The phase lasted longer than expected because we found an issue with the server code that required a lot of work to fix. This has been the biggest issue for us and we are very glad we caught it this early!
