It's a hands-on preview, based on a beta build: In the beta I received, adventure mode appeared to be the foremost portion of the game, and the full game gives you the choice of two major factions, the Gaul’s, and the Romans, each with their own unique strengths, and weaknesses, in the time of Caesar and his invasion of Gaul, who posses the Gaul Chieftain Vercingetorix. The Gaul’s are a rough and tough race of proud tribes, who have powerful units, but lack organization and proper training. They do, however, have the mysterious Druid race on their side, whose magical powers play a large role for the Gaul’s. The Romans are the symbol of pride and prosperity throughout the land. However, they are undermined due to their greed for wealth and pleasure.
