FileFront has whipped up a review of SOE's 'EverQuest' sequel and awarded the game a score of 4/5.Sony Online Entertainment found huge competition with Blizzard Entertainment’s World of Warcraft, creating a lack of buzz around the release of Everquest 2. Being the sequel to the game that caused so many college enrolled gamers to drop out just so they could play, you would have expected more results.
What EQ2 does wonderfully is present deep, immersive environments for players to explore with a great stride in graphics. The world of Norrath this time around is very sleek, and there is very little about it that seems unpolished. It really adds to the fantasy aspect of the game, and if you really wanted to you could just sit watching the “moon” move across the sky with its brilliant streaky shine. |
