U3Project - A Couple of Updates

Springtime, cruel as every year, has inevitably come to the Ultima community, tugging guileless modders away from their beloved PCs out into merciless nature, leaving unsuspecting Ultima projects everywhere to fend for themselves.
As a result, hardly any Ultima news these days.

At least the U3Project site has been updated with a couple interesting additions. Apparently, this new, platform independent engine for Ultima 3 now features both graphics scaling, a sort of anti-aliasing that makes blocky tile graphics look smooth, and increased moddability due to a transfer of certain game data into .xml files.

Let's hope unbearable summer heat will soon drive modders back into their air conditioned houses.
