Project Britannia Announced!

The U6 Project team and the U5 Lazarus team have recently announced their new joint project: Project Britannia! This ambitious project seeks to create a common platform for remaking the Ultima series. Here's a snip:

We've built a blank-slate version of the world of Britannia, which includes all core code for Ultima-standard functionality like moongates, reagent-based spells, NPC scheduling, and more!

For a budding modder or small group wanting to build an Ultima project, PB is a way to shave 3 years off of your development time and conceivably build an entire Ultima mod in only a year or so.

The two teams have not merged together. They are simply working together to create this common platform. Also, the U6 Project forums have been moved to the Project Britannia's website. Head over to the website to check out their feature list, screenshots and downloads!
