The First U.S. Anime-Style Massively Multiplayer Online Game (MMOG)
Irvine, CA – July 17 th , 2001 – World Netgames Inc. today announced the release of their eagerly awaited new commercial version, 3.02e. This new version continues the RedMoon story, expanding the original anime-style Science Fantasy world to allow players to travel from Earth to the distant planet of Signus. Enhancements include new maps, monsters, quests, items, as well as a refined PK system that was the direct result of feedback gained during the 6-month beta trial.
“We’ve seen tremendous success with RedMoon in the U.S over the last 6 months. With more than 65,000 active accounts it’s apparent that U.S. players are looking for something different”, said Kevin Hannah, VP of Marketing for World Netgames. With FREE game software and a low monthly subscription fee of $9.49 per month (with discounts for 3-month and 6-month plans), RedMoon gives players a “lot of bang for their buck”.
Outside the game itself players will also be able to delve deeper into the story with the parallel availability of the RedMoon comic e-books produced by ComicsOne (www.comicsone.com). The first e-book in the series of 18 is available as a free download by visiting www.redmoon-online.com.
A compelling story coupled to inexpensive, exciting game play set in a unique game world allows RedMoon to standout from the crowd. |
