Eve Online: Phishing Alert @ Official Forums

This weekend CCP notified players that someone had been impersonating one of their GMs in an attempt to get Eve Online account information. The regular precautions apply:
Please remember that CCP, the GM team, nor the Vols will ask for your account name and password, ever!

If you suspect a mail is a phishing attempt, always log in to Account Management from the menu to the left, and never from a link in an e-mail. This is also applicable to other e-mails, like Credit Card solicitations, Bank accounts, Ebay and Paypal, etc.
