NWN 2: Forum Highlights @ NW Vault

It's been a little while since we highlighted any NWN 2 forum dev posts but today's batch at NW Vault has Programmer Brian Lawson talking about the day/night cycle:
Morning,
Noon,
Evening,
Dusk,
Midnight.
I'll say this much... You've got the above and it's a fun and beautiful thing to watch (especially when it's set to an accelerated rate).

Imagine if you will, as the sun starts to rise, the shadows of all things in view begin to fade in and are stretched across the land. As the sun gets higher in the sky, the land and all things visible start to brighten and their shadows move accordingly...

The same goes for sunset and the onset of night time...as the sun sets, rich and vibrant evening colors (a redish/orangish hue everywhere) along with outstretched shadows stretching further and further as the sun gets lower in the sky...

Okay, I'll stop now.
