Deus Ex for PS2 Review at Gamesdomain

Gamesdomain.com has put up a review of the PS2 version of Dues Exhere rating it a four out of five.

Deus Ex is a good conversion of a great game, and after umming and ahhing about if it deserves a 3.5 or a 4 rating, its sparks of creative genius and playability win out in the end over the rather time ravaged look of it. The PS2 pad just about handles the complexities of the controls, making it a joy to play once they're mastered - and with the fantastic and comprehensive training mode, that isn't too long. It provides enough of a change from the regular console FPS to be a good purchase and while its narrative pace can be a bit slow at times, it manages to pack enough charm to keep you entertained, even with disappointing graphics. PC veterans won't be impressed, but for newcomers to the genre, especially those who enjoyed Half-Life, it's a fine purchase.
