Here's a bit from that preview, which isn't too long, by the way: There are three character classes: soldier, scout, and scoundrel, and you must choose one of the three to start. After you gain enough experience you can become a Jedi and then it's up to you whether or not you want to walk the path of light, or darkness. The backdrop involves a massive war between the Sith and the Jedi and, even if you're playing a dark Jedi, you'll find the Sith your enemy. The dark siders tend to not play nice, even with each other. The game will be very freeform and, like Bioware's previous titles (the Baldur's Gate series in particular), will involve a lot of optional side quests to distract you from the main narrative.
