RPGVault brings us the third development report for Lethal Dreams, an RPG/strategy hybrid being developed by Ukrainian studio Boolat Company. Alexandr Druzhinin is talking about AI:
The main peculiarity of creatures in Lethal Dreams is their independence. The only order they understand is the indication to get to some point on the map. And there are creatures totally opposite to human nature (Demons) that won't obey even this order. You will never find yourselves thinking that you missed just the right second and didn't give your allies the orders to attack the enemy, and on the other hand you will have to know the strengths of your creatures to make the attacks more deadly. I won't describe every creature in detail - the manual will do it pretty well, so I will only describe some principles of creature behavior and the groups they are divided into in terms of game intelligence. |
