The Wargamer has reviewed Ion's third 'Thief' installment.
Two of the greatest PC game franchises of all time are the Thief games and the System Shock series, both of which were created by Looking Glass Studios. Like the rest of the PC gaming community, I shed a tear for the end of Looking Glass and questioned which development houses would carry on that studio’s fine tradition of atmospheric environments, subtle, haunting fear, and intricate level design. Upon playing Thief: Deadly Shadows, it is safe to say that Ion Storm, now made up of many refugees from Looking Glass, can definitely be considered a contender for the title that Looking Glass once proudly held. Their newest installment of the Thief franchise is engaging, memorable, and tends to be very creepy, making it a very worthy addition to a great series.
