The 14th Mimesis Online Developer Diary is up at RPGVault today. Its a long one, and worth the read. Check out this snippet:

Last time I wrote, the subject was the 'outsider' species - the Vipers, the Lillith and one other. To write about the latter, as I mentioned last time, I needed Waldek's help, and so I cornered him in the canteen, and got him to tell me more. Waldek had the greatest hand in creating the character of the species in question - Artur and Marcin also threw in a lot, but it's Waldek's touch of light insanity that makes it all work. Anyway, the story he told me was such good material that I decided to let him tell you it all himself. So here's Waldek (Waldemar Strzelczyk, head of the graphics team, to give him his full title) with the story of the Svean Draak in a piece that he titled The Chaos Bringer.
"Maybe you've seen him, sloping down the streets. He doesn't look special in any way - kind of gangly figure, but nothing in his clothes or face that marks him out as what he is - the Chaos Bringer. If he touches it, it'll fall apart, if he says it, it will put the proverbial cat smack bang in the middle of the pigeons. Guaranteed to confuse you, he's completely innocent of his ability to generate chaos in the most ordered of situations."

Read it all right here.
