1) Sony Online Entertainment/Lucas have launched the third edition of their "Guess the Creature Contest". You have to identify a Star Wars creature to be a winner.
2) Haden "Shug_Ninx" Blackman (Lucas Arts Producer) has commented on a fan's post in which an article from Star Wars Gamer magazine was quoted. It deals with PvP (Player vs. Player):
Hey Everyone!
Few quick notes:
1) This article was written long ago (Gamer has a long lead time), before we had posted anything to the boards and even before the language in the doc was finalized. And even what we posted to the boards had some "mistakes" slip through...
2) Given the article was meant to be a high-level overview. It certainly doesn't contain the level of detail that we posted to the boards.
3) The Duels thing is indeed an inaccuracy. It should have read "consensual combat..." instead of just "consensual duels." *Any* consensual fighting is allowed in a safe area, including faction and PA conflicts.
4) The bounty hunter vs. outcast status thing is correct. You can choose one or the other when murdered.
5) "'Across several worlds'. Isn't that ALL worlds? Or am I reading too much into it?" :) Yes, you're reading too much into it. That really means "Hey, if you're an outcast, you'll have to travel to a bunch of worlds if you want to be forgiven throughout the whole game." The specificity of "all" worlds might be confusing to someone who is reading about Galaxies for the first time and, technically, it might not be true (there could, potentially, be worlds that are run by the same governmet - we haven't broken all that down yet).
6) Changes to the PvP system have been minor clarifications, as far as I know. If there's any major change, we'll be sure to let you know.
