The Neverwinter Vault has posted a review of 'BardSong 1 - Earth and Sky', a fan-made module for BioWare's AD&D-based fantasy RPG 'Neverwinter Nights'. Rating: 7/10.
Bard Song: Earth and Sky" is a module designed exclusively for Bard characters - my favourite character class! I love the bard's extreme versatility: a bit of stealth, a bit of healing, a bit of charm, and a few combat skills. Well, perhaps not enough combat skills; but that only amplifies the challenge! I think this module will work well with any bard character, but mixing in a few levels of rogue would be ideal in my opinion. The module's backstory is simple: as a well respected artist, you have been invited to perform at the Elven tree-top city. You'll spend the first half of this fun module exploring the Elven city and interacting with its unusual NPC inhabitants. In contrast, the second half of the module is a relatively traditional linear dungeon crawl.
