We received a press-release earlier announcing that Buka has signed a publishing deal with French company Pointsoft Interactive for a number of their titles including Spells of Gold. Here's the contents of the press release:PointSoft And Buka E3 Deal
France will be flooded with Buka’s titles.
Moscow - May 30, 2003 – Buka Entertainment, one of the leading Russian publishers, is pleased to announce the signing of the contract with PointSoft Interactive, a well-known French publisher, for the following line-up of Buka’s titles:- Echelon:Wind Warriors
- Red Shark
- Paradise Cracked
- March!: Offworld Recon
- Spells of Gold
- Midnight Nowhere
- Steamland
- The Entente: World War I Battlefields
"We believe that this cooperation will bring satisfaction to both parties," said Maxim Mikhalev – Vice-President International in Buka Entertainment. "Also we hope that the experience of both teams in gaming will make French and Spanish users enjoy our titles."
All products will be localized into French and distributed in France (Echelon: Wind Warriors will be distributed in France and Spain and localized into both languages).
"This deal is the logical continuation of our long-term smooth partnership and the result of our warm meeting at E3 2003," added Inna Bukatina – International Sales Manager.
