GameSpy is the next site to slap up some impressions of NetDevil's 'Auto Assault':While it's not a huge surprise that Auto Assault incorporates many of functionality-based innovations introduced to the genre by games like World of Warcraft and EverQuest II, it sure is a pleasant one. And given the game's focus on minute-to-minute action, nothing else would really suffice. In civilized areas, for instance, quest givers are clearly demarked, and whether you're behind the wheel or on foot, getting a task is as easy as moving to them, commencing a dialog, and hitting "accept." Concessions were even made for those less prone to reading blocks of text: the quests descriptions have keywords bolded out, so as to make the particulars of the task at hand skim-friendly. |
