EGCore has roamed out of their usual MMO fare to post a review of Final Fantasy X-2. There doesn't seem to be a score so here's the summary:
Overall, Final Fantasy X-2 was an extremely fun game. It gave me a chance to see what happened to a couple of my favorite characters after the end of Final Fantasy X-2, while giving me a totally new gameplay experience to boot. The characters were fun to be around again and the music grew on me in a wonderful way. There is enough to do here to keep you playing for at least 40 or 50 hours your first time through. Of course, to finish off the story, you'll need to use the new game plus option (as there are some things you simply can't do your first time through). I highly recommend Final Fantasy X-2 to any fan of the series, and also anyone that is looking for a good RPG for the Playstation 2, provided you can look past the change in musical style and the recycled graphics.
