Fallout 2: 10/10 points |
All of the juicy goodness of Fallout, just larger and with a few horribly bad bugs. Bugs can be fixed however, so gorge yourself on this long, atmospheric, ridiculously fun CRPG. |
Planescape: Torment: 9/10 points |
Started off kinda slow and sat on my harddrive unplayed for months. Then one day I just booted it up and it hooked me. The story just drew me in so much I played it pretty much non-stop from that point to completion. And Morte... *tear* I've never had more sympathy for any CRPG characters than I did for the Torment gang. Game definitely proves there are two sides to every story. May not have been the most action-packed game, but if you enjoy reading books anyway, this game won't bother you at all. |
Pool of Radiance - Ruins of Myth Drannor: 1/10 points |
I can best express my feelings about this game by saying this: It was like someone blindfolding me and telling me Jessica Alba was waiting for me nude just behind those bushes... although when I happily charged through the "Collector's Edition" bushes all I found when I tore off my blindfold was dirty, naked, leering Bea Arthur waiting for me with a rusty hacksaw... Then she cut off my sack. Well that about sums it up. This game was complete ass. |

I'm old enough to have actually played this game and all I've got to say is that at the time it was released no one said the black and white television was boring or lacked features either. ;-) |
