You will have noticed that (if you haven't visited us within the last 12 hours) there are popunders at RPGDot. We will show them to you only once every 12 hours (twice, if you are looking at our gallery, since we have to use different cookies for those two domains), and after you have seen it, we won't bother you with it anymore for the next 12 hours.
We think it is the least disturbing way to allow the site to cover at least a little part of the costs. They open BEHIND the window which contains our site, and they do not display adult or gambling content. We do not expect a lot of income from those popunders, but every little helps in the situation the gaming sites are in now. Every fully loaded popunder (it has to fully load, though) will benefit the site and help us cover the costs for the servers (ours and those for the hosted sites).
If you have cookies disabled in your browser, I'd advise you to turn them on. This is the only way we can prevent the popunders respawing with every page you visit. I sincerely hope these popunders don't annoy you too much, but we really need to cover ou costs. If you want to know the details about our finances, click the link under the donation banner to the right, we will openly reveal our costs and our income there.
