I can't believe this hasn't been rated by anyone yet. Lands of Lore 1 is one of the best rpg's I've ever played along with BAK, Dragon Wars, and Daggerfall. The CDROM copy of Lands of Lore featured lots voice acting which I remeber enjoying along some really good puzzles as well a good storyline. One of the few CRPG that I have completly finished. |

After the Eye of the Beholder games, Westwood's Lands of Lore proved that you could make a better first-person dungeon hack without AD&D than with it. The result is a classic that was - for its time - an absolute blockbuster. |

LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT. For the time it was THE BEST and was the first game for me that everyone talked. with Patrick steward as the king was the icing on the cake. The combat system was great for the time and the story well it was the normal kill the foozle type but still all the characters and creatures kept the game great. ONE of my all time favorites. Ranks right up there with ultima 6 and bards tale as classics |

Captain Picard did the voice acting!! :) Besides that, a good RPG, although I can't recall much of it anymore. Only thing I remember is that the atmosphere was intense, and I hated geting poisoned in that goddamn swamp... |

This one was really a great game. Enthralling story, great graphics, and a CD edition with Patrick Stewart (I actually never got the CD edition). Anyway, the game was awesome. Gets a point off because of the infinite creature spawners (though I think you could "kill" most of spawn thigns...) That's just a bad idea... |

This game was pretty good for it's time. My memory of it fades, but I do recall it was quite combat intensive with some very challenging battles. Some nice bells and whistles made it a good looking game. |

Yeah, that's made fun. Although I hate the ghost warriors at that bloody white castle, or something. The witch at the end was really hard stuff. |

This RPG is simply the best ever created. It kept me occupied for three years, whereas most other games leave me bored after a month or two. The replayability is simply astonishing, and the constant plot twists and adventure are thrilling. |

One of the greatest rpg games with U7 and UW.The only reproach is the linearity of the story.But the atmosphere and the making are astonishing.Still playing it from time to time nowadays. |

a BRILLIANT game! so perfectly balanced in every possible way. not exactly a stats-heavy rpg, but definitely the most playable i've ever seen, and it has the best storyline too with so many plot twists. they should remake this one. CLASSIC. |
