RPGRadar has written a preview of Everquest 2. No pics in there, just text - and here's a bit of it:
Everquest II promises to have more intuitive gameplay, allowing both beginner and advanced players to feel at home with the game. The new branching class structure allows your character to become better experienced in the tasks you find yourself participating in regularly, and less experienced in those you rarely act upon. However, depending on which race you've chosen at the beginning of your travels, different attributes will be available for your best interests, but you do not have to follow the suggested skills if that's what your heart desires. Whatever you choose, you will have plenty of oppurtunity to level up your character judging by the size of the world of Norath. You'll be able to revisit familiar locations found in the first Everquest, and be introduced to newly discovered areas in the Age Of Destiny, a time period in the future of the original game. But don't expect previous locations to be the same. Since the game is set in the future of Norath, some old locations may have fallen by seige, or have grown from small towns to thriving empires. Just be prepared when you find out that one of your favorite pubs has been demolished to make room for a king's castle. |
