For generations, the inhabitants of the Isle of Arinrod - Orcs, Dwarves, and Humans of various classes - lived in uneasy peace under the rule of great and powerful Kings.
But beneath this shallow calm swirled centuries of hatred and mistrust, waiting for a chance to explode...
The chance finally came when King Domnall the Wise - a ruler loved by ALL the races -mysteriously disappeared one winter night. Dynastic control quickly - some say magically- crumbled to dust. In the ensuing chaos, all the ancient hatreds erupted with volcanic violence, and the Isle of Arinrod collapsed into bloody tribal war.
When our tale begins, this so-called Great Chaos has been ravaging Arinrod for eighteen long years. Powerful Wizards, Knights, Dwarves and Orcs battle each other - and sometimes themselves - for control of territory and powers. Princesses are kidnapped, Dark Wizards terrorize villages, Dwarves bring their underground dominions to the light. As ancient scores are settled, new grudges rise, and the once peaceful island is gripped in an ever-shifting kaleidoscope of war.
It is here, in the darkest heart of the Great Chaos, that the Wizards Duel Cycle takes place...
