RPGVault has posted a review of Anarchy Online: The Notum Wars, the recently released booster pack for Funcom's futuristic MMORPG. Here's something from that:
Notum Wars also brings improvements to the character creation system. Before entering Rubi-Ka, players will now learn much more about the three factions, and class selection information is greatly improved. Also, non-player characters with information or quests are menu-driven. Before, when talking to NPCs to find out what they know or when needing help, players had to type comments hoping to hit upon a keyword. Now, a series of choices pops up, making it easier to find tasks and assistance. As well, Advisors of Rubi-Ka (ARK) have been made available to new players upon their first entry onto the planet so as to make their adjustment to the game much easier.
They also mention that the booster pack offers a full version of the original game, a month of free playing time - and is a bargain for $20. There is no rating, but the overall tone seems pretty positive to me.
