The Orb of the Moons that came with the game doesn't work. I hope they'll fix that in Elijah :p (jk)

Best RPG of it's time really, and the ultima series for the most part are all great RPGs, the 6th installment was without fail. The only reason it doesn't score a perfect 10 is that I found the world "too stuck up"... a bit like "lawful" compared to "good" (at least In WFRP) |

Ultima VI is yet another classic. The series had well and truly picked up steam by the time this was released. The last of the Ultimas before the Guardian saga, the sixth title has a fantastic plot with a twist that took everyone by surprise back in its day. I pity anyone who is ignorant enough to think a game that doesn't compare with today's flashy graphics can't be good, because I highly doubt Ultima VI is missing from any RPG veteran's favourites list. |

This is the part of the Ultima series that made me give up on Ultima altogether. It's an isometric generic RPG with the name Ultima attached to it. It doesn't have ANY of the classic Ultima atmosphere and it's way too combat oriented. The puzzles are bland and the npc's have lost all their charm (and dialogue..). This was the last Ultima I ever played. Guess I should have given Ultima VII a chance after all, huh? |

This was the first rpg I ever played, and I was hooked from the start. The level of detail was incredible, the plot was the best yet, and the characters where well developed. The combat and puzzle solving was not up to par with the two previous games, but it made up for that in so many other ways. |

The pinnacle of the Ultima Series. VGA graphics and SoundBlaster support were a dream come true 12 years ago. Only of the VERY few games without flaw, everything was how it should be. The 2 parts of Ultima 7 may have been better, but this one was ground breaking. |

An unfortuante step down from Ultima V. The graphics arent as good, though more colorful, and the Gargoyle Underworld seemed rushed. However, though it wasnt as good as Ultima V, it is still an awesome game by almost any other standard. |
