A new patch was applied yesterday to Fighting Legends giving the beta testers (of which yours truly is one of the lucky few) more goodies. Here is an overview of the new stuff (i've left out some smaller stuff to make it more readable):
  • The \har console variable can now be used to adjust the radius in which data is updated on your client from the server. The maximum value is 200.

  • Powers have been added to the game. You will gain these as you go up in level, starting at level 3. These are somewhat similar in effect to relics except their power regenerates over time. Here is a list of the powers and their similar relic graphics and effects:
    - Voodoo Baby - Makes your tribe small.
    - Glove of Fury - Makes you attack twice as fast.
    - Spike Helm - Makes your tribe big.
    - Xplo Amulet - Increases mana regeneration rate by 10 times.
    - Gramma’s Cookies - Increases hp regeneration rate by 10 times.
    - Shield of D - Cuts the damage taken by your tribe in half.
    - Trog Collar - Reduces the target tribe’s/NPC’s walking speed by %50.
    - Inviso Mask - Makes your tribe invisible.

  • Damage inflicted upon characters from the side and back now does more damage than when taken from the front.

  • You now receive different amounts of experience based off of the power of your opponent.

  • Server and client hp/damage now matches up correctly.

  • NPCs now regenerate hit points.

  • The problems concerning the Radeon line of video cards have been resolved.

  • Unit hit points and damage have been adjusted to better balance the game.

  • The server stability has been increased to handle larger numbers of players in one zone.

In addition to that there will be unannounced ingame events.
While in the game, if you spot a recruiter simply tell them you would like to participate in one of these wild events. Recruiters will be moving around in different worlds, advertising the event and looking for players. They will fill you in on the various roles in which to play, the event concept, and how it will work via a private email which you will receive after you have contacted the recruiter. You can spot the recruiters by the name Recruiter followed by a number, as there are more than one.

Follow these individuals-they will take you to the starting point. Get in there now, and you might find a recruiter to lead you to one of these exciting exclusive events!
Yeah!! some of this stuff is really kewl. This improves Fighting Legends even more.

By the way, there is still a chance to get into the next beta phase, if you think you can handle this game. Just head over to their website and register.
