World of Ryzom has posted a log from their Dev Chat #5 featuring David Cohen (Itanaguruki). Here's a snip:
what do YOU think will ryzom make different/better than his ‘competitors’?

the game play will be more interesting because it’s linked to the universe and storyline. The universe will provide a great foundation for better immersion and implication in the game's experience. The story will give you the purposes of your actions, choices and decisions. You will impact both the world and the story; you will have a role / responsibility in the evolution of the game's world and destiny. I think that Ryzom will not be a theme park where you just consume each attraction one by one. It rather is a world in movement where you have the means (of course you have to gain them) to impact the reality of the world's status.
