Epic developer, Jeff Morris (UT, Civilization titles), is interviewd at Gamecloud about his thoughts for the upcoming year in the gaming world. eff Morris - The industry is inevitably sliding into the next-generation world and there’s going to be lots of drama associated with that. It’s like a built-in, industry-wide risk for almost every game being developed. In the end, hopefully we’ll have as many good games to play as we did this year. 2005 had so many fun titles though, it’s going to be a tough act to follow. The price increase for next-generation console titles is concerning. The Star Wars - Episode III DVD cost $20.00 the day it was released, and you’ll be hard pressed to find a high profile home-theater title this year.
