Circle of Hibernia as posted a Dark Age of Camelot Beta Journal based on Hibernia realm adventures plus fifteen screenshots.
Also a new Mythic’s Dark Age of Camelot preview can be found at The Messenger of Albion, it includes hardware recommendations and monster artificial intelligence comments.
Of great interest to many people is the artificial intelligence of non-player characters in Dark Age of Camelot. As I mentioned earlier, non-experience giving monsters will not attack a character unless they have assistance from a friend who could possibly kill the character. Intelligent creatures in the game often can be found teaming up together (one higher level monster with one or more lower level monsters of the same type), sending out scouts to notify them of impending danger, and calling for help from friends when wounded. Sometimes monsters will follow a person whom they dislike a great distance and other times they will not, it varies. (I think that the computer can tell when I want something to follow me, and it makes the thing go back home, and when I want the thing to get lost and leave me alone, it doggedly follows me!!!!) The artificial intelligence determines how many friends will come to help whatever monster you are wanting to fight by looking at how many people helped you kill the last one or two. So when you solo, you should only get one monster, but if you are grouped, you might get quite a few more. I think that it works very well, once less than genius groupmates have figured that out.
