In our newsbit about a possible System Shock III from two days ago we quoted GameStar's translation of the Russian site GameMag. Now GameMag sent us a rectification, unfortunately:
Hi, I'm editor of Gamemag.ru
I just want to kill the false rumors.

Yes, we wrote the news about possibility of the SS3, but the main idea of
the article was that the whole team still staying in touch. But SS3 not in
their plans yet. We just quoted Warren Specter in his last interview to
GBase. Thank you for understanding.

Quoting:
Warren Spector: Oh yeah! I talked to the System Shock guys all the time! Doug Church, who is the project cofounder, he is one of my best friends, he is there in Austin all the time. I`ve seen him in San Fransisco, I`m going to see him next week in London. I`ve actually hired some of the members of the System Shock team, Art Min, who is a programmer on that project, he is working for me now at Ion Storm, Rob Fermier, who had worked on that project, I saw him about a month ago, he came down to Austin / Texas to play board games, German board games. I play all sorts of German board games every Friday night, I got a regular gaming group. And Tim Stellmach, who worked on the project, I saw him about a month ago. I`ve changed emails with Marc LeBlanc all the time. I mean yeah, we all talked all the time! There aren`t a lot of people making games like this or are interesting in making games like this, so we`ve all got to keep in touch with each other and, you know, talk about games like this.
Well...there's still hope though!
