Ashley Cheng, Lead Designer for Morrowind: Bloodmoon, was partner in an interview at the LoneGamers' forums. This excerpt revelas something in revealing nothing *g*:
Q: Morrowind has become a great success and, from the looks of it, a lot of time has been spent creating the expansions for it: has this affected the creation of another Elder Scrolls game?

A: Working on the expansions has been a real pleasure as it allows us to create new and different content that is very different from Morrowind. It’s the best way to keep the series consistently fresh.
Huh, Ashley, did you get the question? :-)
