It was right around E3 last year that Guild Wars splashed onto the PC scene. In a clever move, developer ArenaNet offered an alpha demo for download that could be played along with show goers in its E3 booth. It was a unique way to let gamers be a part of the show's vibe and they ate it up. So, with both this year's E3 and the release of the game right around the corner, it seemed only natural to wrap up our pre-release coverage spending this past weekend in the final beta event.
