§DnGaming has written a review of the Diablo 2 expansion Lord of Destruction. 6.9 is the (low) rating they gave the product - and here's a part of why:

Oh, say it ain't so, Blizzard! Diablo II was such a great game-it had an epic story, good graphics and addictive gameplay. How can they wrap up the Diablo storyline with this mediocre product? It gets me irate just thinking about how I infected my Diablo II installation with this game!

Now that all my rage is out, I'll calmly present my closing opinion. The new items like runes and jewels add a lot to the Diablo II gameplay, but the new act and most of the new graphics do not flow well with the original product. The new resolution feature is a big plus, the switching weapons are good, the new classes are a bit lackluster in my opinion. The new act is the big disappointment here. It's the main draw for purchasing the expansion, but it just doesn't deliver a satisfactory ending to the Diablo storyline.
