A new Might & Magic 9 Review can be found at Avault today. Like most of the reviews out there, Avault rates the game poor only, with 2/5 stars:
Might & Magic IX falls below the bar set by current RPG's like Morrowind and Wizardry 8. The extremely behind-the-times graphics, frustrating interface and game mechanics, and lackluster plot all lead to a gaming experience that's more tedium than it's worth. The Might & Magic series has come a long way since its early days in the world of Xeen. Unfortunately, it appears as though it's come a long way down from the lofty standards it set for the entire RPG genre once upon a time.
