Nine: Being part of the creative team involved with EQ2, would you say you have more of an advantage than the average player has in terms of knowing plot details for storylines, NPC’s for quest turn ins, and general information that the average consumer has to find out on their own?
I have the ability to take advantage of the information available to me, but that usually ruins the fun. To be honest, if I get stuck on a quest, I do the same thing that everyone else does (ask in guild chat, bug people in the "LFG" channel on our server that nobody looks for a group in, or hit up a website with spoilers).
In terms of lore and plotlines, I probably do know a little more than the average player. That may change in the future as we start releasing more and more lore as weekly features. EverQuest II has a heck of a lot of lore to it, and we want people to know more about it because the stories are part of the heart of the game. More... |
