CDProjekt has released the first newsletter for The Witcher. Michal Kiciński writes about the reception at E3, what they were doing in May and there's an exclusive screenshot and some photos of the team. You can sign up here to receive them (next one due July 1st) and here's a taste from this one:
First half of the month was a time when we were preparing the first functional version of the game for the presentation at E3 computer expo. You know how it is with stuff being done for the first time - needless to say, some of the things we worked on came out a little different than expected. Luckily, thanks to the SLIGHTLY extended number of work-hours, we managed to finish everything we wanted and even prepare something extra. One of those out-of-the-blue things was the game's trailer - that's the reason for it not being 100% politically correct ;-) (I'd like to use this moment to announce a competition - please name the reason for the trailer being politically incorrect. The answers should be mailed to us, and the prize shall be a healthy dose of satisfaction :-) ) We liked the trailer so much that we decided to show it - it's fun working for a large corporation and being able to make this kind of decisions ;-)
