Nival Interactive Game Info

Description: Nival Interactive is Russia's leading game developer, and also the largest, with four development teams comprised from a staff of over 120 experienced and dedicated professionals. The company is privately held and produces first-echelon entertainment titles for the international market.

Since its foundation in 1996, Nival Interactive has firmly established its presence in the international gaming industry through constant innovation. Blending RPG and RTS led to the success of the Rage of Mages series. Evil Islands, released to critical acclaim in 2000, integrates tactical covert operations and fantasy RPG into a full 3D environment.

Etherlords, released in November 2001, features a sizzling combination of turn-based strategy and trading card games. Called "the most exciting turn-based strategy game on PC" by Computer and Video Games and "the best game ever released in the turn-based fantasy genre" by GameSpy, it has also gathered several Readers' Choice awards and set new graphical standards for the strategy genre. Etherlords II, the sequel to Etherlords, offers a spectacular new mix of role-play and turn-based tactical combat released in Q4 2003 by Strategy First.

Blitzkrieg, a realistic WWII real-time strategy game published by CDV Software Entertainment was released in March, 2003 and quickly topped sales charts in Russia, Germany, France and the UK. Silent Storm, our next-generation turn-based tactics/RPG title got released across Europe and North America in Q1 2004.

Silent Storm: Sentinels, the full-blown expansion to the original Silent Storm will hit the stores in Q2 2004, while Blitzkrieg II, our epic sequel to the acclaimed Blitzkrieg WWII RTS will see the light in Q1 2005.

CDV, JoWooD, Hanbitsoft, Interplay, Microids, Monolith, Ubi Soft, 1C and other well-known publishers are distributing Nival Interactive's products worldwide. Nival Interactive also holds major market share in Russia, the CIS, and Baltic States as a localization studio and co-publisher of PC games by CDV, Codemasters, Empire, JoWooD, Ubi Soft, Wanadoo, and many others.

All published games are fully localized by Nival Interactive and many of them have received press awards, including "Best of the Year", for their high production values and our commitment to providing the highest quality software products to the Russian market.
