Let's start this Sunday with a preview of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2 at Games Domain. Here's a bit about the cooperative mode:
The important aspect that everybody (at least, anyone capable of spoken inquiry) wants to know about is the two-player cooperative mode; even those whose pen-and-paper sensibilities found the original Dark Alliance's action-heavy slant objectionable would end up caving in to the undeniably pleasurable act of teaming up to defeat the dark hoards. The good news is that the co-operative play option is definitely there in DA2 - and, coupled with the sequel's considerably amped magical pyrotechnics, it looks like it'll be more fun than ever. The bad news is that, currently, the Publishing Powers That Be are vigorously enforcing a Dark Alliance blackout that would make Blitz-era London whistle with awe. |
