Developer focus on top-class stars and a great orchestra

Rottenmann, Austria, July 2005; Gothic 3 – Only the best for the most wanted German role playing game! Piranha Bytes, developer of the atmospheric game 'Gothic 3', accept all troubles by creating fascinating background music. Top-class stars and a impressively huge orchestra revive Kai Rosenkranz's composition.

One highlight of the music recording for Gothic 3 happened in Bochum's University. The Orchestra of Bochum played eight hours of recording creating the atmospheric sounds. Not only does the orchestra music give Gothic 3 its unique spirit: "A high-class product like Gothic 3 deserves a high quality background sound. So it was really important for us to win musicians over from different branches", explains Kai Rosenkranz, composer at Piranha Bytes. "Additionally to the Orchestra of Bochum I managed to get 'GOCOO', a Japanese Taiko band into our project. The famous Hollywood star Lisbeth Scott who displays her voice talent in movies like "Shrek", "The Sixth Sense" and "Sleepy Hollow" will be on board."
