We checked with gamer.uk.com on the status of the orders people have placed through our site. Since we have received a couple of complaints, we wanted their reaction on this issue. Now here's the status:
1) Those who ordered IWD2: IWD 2 has been pushed back to October 31st in the UK. This was a last minute delay, unknown to gamer.ik.com. They marked the orders complete before the release date in order to be able to process the credit cards before they wanted to start shipping. Since the release was postponed so close to the announced release date, these orders stand as completed, but aren't shipped. (FYI - mine is amongst them)
2) Those who have ordered both Icewind Dale 2 and Divine Divinity: It may be that those will be shipped together on October 31st. If you have receiced DD, please let me know per mail.
3) Those who have ordered DD and received it: Please drop me a mail how much time passed between yoour order being completed and you receiving the game.
4) Those who have ordered DD and have NOT received it: Please let me know your order number and when the status was changed to completed. I am collecting all order numbers where the shipment hasn't happened to confront gamer.uk.com with them and to get their reactions.
We will keep you updated on the issue. I still do hope that it is all a coincidence between a pushed back release date and some minor problems and this matter is relsoved in a way that keeps our visitors and us satisfied. |
