A late one - gamersclick has written a review of Divine Divinity - and rated the game 80%. Here's the conclusion:
Overall, Divine Divinity plays like the ultimate RPG amalgamation. The influence of other games is clearly felt in everything from the interface, to the character development system, to the inventory management, to the monsters, to the storyline. For a game consisting almost entirely of borrowed gameplay elements, it still manages to capture the essence of the role-playing experience by balancing combat with character development and story. The production values may not be the best, but for a game from a small European developer, they do the job admirably. Kudos to Larian for reminding us that the best things are the ones worth revisiting.
